Discount spay/neuter vouchers 2014

Mayo Cat Rescue have discount vouchers to help with the cost of spaying/neutering cats. The vouchers are available to everyone regardless of income or circumstances.  Please either e-mail or leave a message on our voicemail 098-35920 (please speak slowly and clearly) with your full name, address, telephone no, the number of vouchers required and vet preference (see below).

PLEASE NOTE: we issue vouchers for kittens also, so regardless whether you are planning to keep the kittens yourself or rehome them (in which case you can give the vouchers to the new owners to encourage them to spay/neuter), please include kittens when asking for our vouchers.

Please read the following carefully and be sure to state which vet you want vouchers for when phoning or e-mailing.

With our vouchers it costs €45 for a female cat spay and €30 for a male neuter with McHale Rd Vets, Castlebar.  094 90 26777.

Feral cats

Our trap/neuter/return (TNR) service is available for feral (wild) cats.  A volunteer calls to the location where the cats are, traps them, transports them to a vet where they are spayed/neutered, wormed and de-flead and ear tipped (to identify them as spayed/neutered and avoid being needlessly trapped again) and returns them after a recovery period (usually the following day).  Please visit www.feralcatsireland.org for more information about feral (wild) cats and the effective humane solution of trap/neuter/return (TNR).
